And one wildly passionate about creating, driving and facilitating a sustainable, progressive and scalable global food system fit for a growing world.
Both a strategic thinker and creative, my work focuses on the intersection of technology, science and biotech and new global food systems. I specifically carry rich and in-depth international insight and experience in food systems. I have built a strong and rare global network of leaders in the future of foods arena. This, coupled with my time offshore and in NZ, has afforded me a rare, valuable and intimate database of knowledge pertaining to the future of food.
I advise businesses, industry and government on the various strategic pathways forward in the future of food and agriculture, as well as an experienced journalist and regular keynote speaker (including TEDx) on the future of food.
I am experienced with working with C-suite level executives, start-ups to multinationals and governments in NZ, Australia, the U.S. and the U.K. to curate & develop purpose-driven & game changing strategic food trajectories, communications strategies & content
I have PhD in environmental innovation and sustainable technology development.Much of my research was undertaken at the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands, and my research took me to learn from the world’s top think tanks & innovators across the NL, Australia, Germany, Belgium & Australia. And in 2017, I was inducted into the University of Auckland’s 40 Under 40 - in the Influencer & Disruptor category.
Outside of my passion, drive and experience in food, I also have experience in project management, copywriting and communications in the areas of environmental sustainability, clean tech & renewable energy. My young family keeps me active, invigorated and passionate to ensure our food system drives - not depletes - our global health and wellbeing.
